They
can get about 3-4' in height and just as wide. However,
if you treat them as you would a cacti...less water, more
sun...they will stay very small, growing only to the size
of their container. You will still get the same effect, many
babies on the leaves...just not as many because the plant
will stay smaller.

Experiment with your babies...Plantlets!

To achieve the pinkish look, seen in the photo,
they need to be exposed to cold temperatures,
just above freezing...BUT DO NOT LET FREEZE.
More sun will also help to acheive the pink.

The beauty is awesome with thousands of babies
covering the edges of each leaf... kinda looks like
a Mexican Fringe hat. These plants are also called
Mexican Hat plant for that reason.

When they bloom in the spring, each little baby on
the leave, produces a small pink bloom, which by
itself is insignificant. But with thousands of them
blooming, it is indescribable...Breath taking!
